Chancellor Harkins - Financial Planner
Chancellor Harkins began his career in the financial services industry at Liberty Mutual Insurance, a Fortune 100 company headquartered in Boston, MA. While at Liberty, Chance completed the Financial Management Program where he rotated through various finance functions and departments including: Financial & Operational Reporting & Analysis, Accounting, Financial Planning, and Expense reporting. Upon completion of the program, Chance transitioned into International Finance where he led various global projects to close, performed external financial reporting for 85 companies with approximately $8B of revenue, leveraged economic analysis for valuation work, managed third parties and supervised new staff.
Chance joined Harkins Wealth Management in 2018 as the Director of Operations where he was responsible for managing daily tasks, identifying improvement opportunities, cost benefit analysis, financial and operational reporting, fostering business growth, strategic initiatives and special projects. In 2019 Chance transitioned into a dual role - maintaining his old responsibilities while also serving clients as a financial planner and wealth management advisor.
Chance graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bentley University, majoring in Economics and Finance. He has also received his Life & Health insurance licenses and has earned a Certificate in Financial Planning through Bryant University.
In his spare time, Chance volunteers as a member of the Finance Committee for the Segue IFL in Central Falls, RI. He also enjoys weight lifting at the local gym, learning new languages, and attempting new cooking recipes. When able, he thoroughly enjoys traveling and is always seeking new places to discover.
